Pazo de Villar de Francos is a 17th-century Galician manor house surrounded by beautiful and expansive gardens, fountains, and a pond.

Within these gardens are two grand salons that have been carefully restored to create an elegant restaurant serving traditional cuisine, by “La Penela,” as well as a covered outdoor space with a view of the Pazo and the gardens. Each salon has a different capacity and can be reserved for special events as well as private lunches or dinners.

The cuisine is one of its main attractions. Only the finest ingredients sourced from local markets and the Pazo’s own vegetable gardens are used to ensure quality and flavor. The chefs also have state-of-the-art technological equipment, such as convection ovens, cooktops, and vacuum machines, to prepare dishes quickly and efficiently.

Elegant and sophisticated decor, with dark wood furniture, chandeliers, and floral ornaments, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

MENU

The menu is divided into five main sections.

STARTERS. Standouts include “Tortilla” de Betanzos, homemade “Empanada,” and Octopus á Feira.

SEAFOOD. Depending on the daily availability at the fish market in A Coruña, with special attention to Clams Marinière, Octopus Casseroles, Large Shrimp, Goose Barnacles, and Daily Langoustines (with prior reservation).

FISH. Also based on market availability, featuring fish such as Hake, Grouper, or Turbot.

MEATS. Highlights include the famous La Penela Roast Veal and Galician-style Tripe.

DESSERTS. We highlight Fried Milk, Crepes with Caramel Cream, and Brioche French Toast.

WINE LIST. It offers references from the main Designations of Origin in Spain, wines from Galicia with a special mention of Barallobre D.O. Rías Baixas from our own cellar, as well as wines from La Rioja and Ribera del Duero.
